Sentiment Analysis

Saplo Sentiment uses semantic technologies to automatically extract and evaluate feelings and emotions expressed or communicated by writers. This service can measure a broad range of concepts, such as how positive, negative or environmentally friendly an organization is perceived by readers.

Sentiment extraction can be used for a range of potential applications including brand evaluation, trend analysis, product reviews, election pools to mention a few areas. Your imagination is the limit when we offer open API access to high quality sentiment classification.

Tailored for your needs: We offer two forms of sentiment analysis which require various amounts of input from the user.

We have one general form of sentiment analysis which produces results independent of how individuals evaluate text. This means that individuals might disagree with results considering it is an average result based on a general assumption; that we disagree on how we value things as humans. In short, a form of analysis that is pre-defined and ready to use regardless of personal preferences.

Then we have one form of sentiment analysis were the individual, or a group of individuals with a specific purpose, is in focus. This form requires initial training from the user (or customer) in order to work well, but can on the other hand serve specific needs which we never could “develop” or reproduce in Saplo’s “labs”. In short, this form of sentiment mimics how individuals or groups of users evaluate text.

These sentiment models, as we call them, can for instance be focused on one brand/person, a broader industry section, a specific type of analysis (financial or sport for instance) or can be created as general tool by yourself.
