Saplo Context Contextual Recognition

Filter and categorize text, personalize site content and compare users of similar interest.

Use contextual recognition from Saplo to:

• Create groups of different topics.
• Separate content of interest from the gibber.
• Make comparisons between different types of profiles.

Personalization: Provide users with personal recommendations based on what type of text they have tended to like in the past. Personal recommendations can include:

• finding persons with common interests.
• recommend articles that would probably interest you.
• filter out content irrelevant to you.

Categorization: Improve structure of your text databases by separating articles into different categories.

Saplo Context is available through the group- and text methods in Saplo API, for example:

• text.relatedGroups recommend what group a text is most likely to belong to.
• group.relatedGroups find relations between groups.
• group.relatedTexts searches for texts related to a group.

When creating a topic, you are actually creating a text group in Saplo API. Add texts to a group so that we know what kind of texts the group (or topic) is referring to. Compare other texts to the text group and see how similar they are. If a text is very similar to the group, then you can determine that the text is on the same topic as the group represents.
